For one week, Vounetz becomes the launch site of an international paragliding competition. Come and watch the flights, breathe the pure air of the Prealps and experience the mountains in a whole new way.

From June 22 to 27, 2026, the Swiss Paragliding Open lands in Charmey.
Pilots from across Europe launch from Vounetz for cross-country tasks above the Fribourg Prealps.

An event open to all: take the gondola to the summit and watch the launches, or take part yourself by registering on the official website.

The site remains open to everyone:
- Schools are of course always welcome during this period
- Paragliders who are not taking part in the competition but would like to come and fly at Charmey are also always welcome
