After a serious car accident that left him bedridden in a hospital, Fabio Minnig felt the need to give his life new meaning. He has long harbored a dream: to make a film that shows downhill skateboarding in a new light, far removed from the few-second clips and the endless scroll of social media.
For three years, he traveled the most beautiful roads of Switzerland, France, Spain, and Romania. Amid dizzying speeds, breathtaking landscapes, and moments of doubt,UNTAMEDrevealswhat lies behind the images—the sacrifices, the fear, the friendship, the passion, and that quest for freedom that drives some to live on the edge.
More than just a sports film,UNTAMED is a deeply human adventure. An immersion into a little-known world, brought to life through cinematic imagery, it invites viewers to reflect on the meaning of risk, freedom, and the dreams we choose to pursue—no matter the cost.
