In collaboration with the Summit Foundation, we're organizing a litter-picking day on the Vounetz mountain in Charmey on Saturday, May 4, 2024. A great day to share together for a good cause!

Bring a picnic and your good mood!
9:00 am: Meet at the Charmey gondola parking lot for the briefing and a complimentary coffee/croissant
9:30 am: Start of collection on the field
12:00-1:00 pm: Picnic in the countryside
1:00-3:30 pm: Continuation of the collection
3:30-4:00 pm: Countdown to the collection and end of the day

Every year, thousands of tonnes of garbage are unfortunately left on our mountains, altering their natural beauty and threatening the fragile ecosystem that resides there. From plastic bottles and snack wrappers to litter left behind by careless visitors, this waste can have devastating consequences for the local flora and fauna. By picking up this garbage, we're not only helping to make our mountains more beautiful, we're also preserving their natural environment. Every piece of garbage removed from our trails is one step closer to a healthier ecosystem and a more enjoyable mountain experience for all. Together, we can make a real difference in preserving these natural gems for future generations.
