Who said summer was better? From October 3 to 25, 2026, Charmey takes on the colors of fall. A family mystery to solve, daily activities during the school break, photo spots at the summit, and slides beneath the orange leaves. Come on up—you’ll see what we mean.

What to do in Charmey in the fall?

At the summit of Vounetz, activities and entertainment await you—for just a few weeks. And if fog settles in the valley, there’s a good chance you’ll be above it.

The Autumn Riddle: Who will find the mystery word?

A loop hike of about 1 hour and 30 minutes along the Vounetz Panorama Trail, with 10 puzzles to solve along the way.

• Pick up the brochure at the reception desk, at the bottom of the ski lifts
• Solve the puzzles and find the mystery word
• Your reward awaits you at the reception desk, and don’t forget to enter the contest

An easy hike, accessible to everyone, in any weather. And finish off in style with hot chocolate at Restaurant Le Vounetz!

Swin Golf: ready to swing?

After spending the summer grazing at the summit, the cows are lending us their pasture! A 9-hole course in the heart of nature, one club, one ball and a view over the Fribourg Pre-Alps. The equipment is waiting for you at the gondola exit, and it's all free. The perfect way to spend a lovely autumn afternoon with family or friends.

The slides in fall colors

Seven slides, a hike, and the forest turning shades of red and gold. The Slide Trail takes on a whole new dimension in October. A must-try before the end of the season!
