Numerous itineraries invite you to discover Charmey in its pure state, the ideal place for nature lovers.
Trails with breathtaking views!
Discover our suggestions for easy access hikes that take you to the top of our lifts. See the pages for each hike for details! To find your way around, look for the coloured stickers on the yellow footpath signs, which are identical to those on the hiking map.
For other itineraries in the region (e.g. Les Gorges de la Jogne or the tour of Lac de Montsalvens), visit the La Gruyère Tourisme website, which lists all the hikes available to you.
Magic Pass holders can use the ski lifts free of charge, while different pedestrian rates allow you to choose a one-way or round trip for the day.
Which hike to choose?
Walking with children
- Panorama of Vounetz : the shortest itinerary, it will allow you to discover the surroundings of the summit
- Le Ganet : can be shortened by taking the gondola at the intermediate station
I want to spend my energy
- La Vatia : climbing on the Vanil Blanc ridge
- Le Drotzu : a slightly more difficult and steep path
- Pré-de-l’Essert : the longest route
I am looking for some shade
- La Vatia : a good part of the trail is in the forest on the Vanil Blanc ridge
- Les Reposoirs : a slightly longer route through a magnificent forest
I am interested in typical architecture
- La Chéta : passes by 2 traditional chalets
- Pré-de-l’Essert : you will discover a lovely little chapel
I am looking for the most direct Charmey-Vounetz route
