Snowshoeing
Numerous signposted snowshoe trails invite you to discover Charmey in its purest form !
Depending on what you want to do and how fit you are on the day, you can take the gondola lift up or down to one of the snowshoeing routes.
The mountain of Vounetz offers you 3 routes of different intensities. From the middle station or from the summit, all routes can be reached by gondola.
Magic Pass holders of course get a free lift, while pedestrian rates allow you to select a one-way or round trip for the day.
Respect means protecting
As a partner company of the Parc Naturel Régional Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut, we are committed to making our visitors aware of the impact of their presence on nature.
In winter, the particularly difficult conditions for wildlife mean that hikers have a greater responsibility:
- Follow the marked and frequented routes
- Avoid forest edges and snow-free areas
- Avoid moving at dawn or dusk.
- Keeping dogs on a leash, especially in the forest
- Respect quiet zones and protection sites
